I heart blogging!?!

Ok, so I have to admit. I’m addicted to writing on Chubby Housewife! More specifically, I am in love with all of the feedback I am getting from my readers. My husband, being the computer guy that he is, had been after me to write a blog for a long time. (Honestly, I think he knew it would take my mind off of coming up with projects to harass him with…) I never did it because I just didn’t know what on earth I would write about. I’m not terribly crafty, I can’t carve interesting figurines out of recycled shoe soles, and let’s face it, most days my life is a fiasco. Would anyone want to read about this? Who would care?

Obviously, I got past that and started writing. And writing. And writing. The first week I didn’t get to bed before 1:30-2 am EVERY NIGHT. I slowly started to balance that out and am getting a little sleep… (makes the early morning child invasion a little easier). This has been such a great outlet to talk about my day. Being home with two kids all day is an entirely different ball game than life with one. Since Anthony was in school when Jack was born, this has really been my first run with it. It’s been a little insane, but we are FINALLY starting to get into a routine, (one which is involving a LOT of time at the pool! YAY!)

So it is nice to sit at night and think about the day’s good (family trip to the pool), bad (losing my temper with Anthony while on the phone with the swimming lesson lady, bet she’s thrilled to have us start next week), ugly (Jack spitting up all over Anthony) and hilarious (Anthony saying “Hey! That’s the first time Jack has puked on me! Nice!”) when I write. It’s almost like keeping a journal. But my favorite is when I hear back from people saying they laughed, cried *(Sorry about that fishie post, I’ll warn you all next time)*, tried a new recipe, got inspired to run/workout, or learned something new (Hope you are enjoying the frozen grapes, Grammy!).

I want to thank all of you for reading and sharing. Please keep your comments, stories and messages coming. They really brighten my day!!!

Yes I have tried the frozen grapes. Still have some problems chewing them. Guess it is just my bad bite.
