Well…. did she hit the goal???

YES! I did!!!!

Two days ago! (Sorry I left you all hanging… I had a big 2 days kicking off a new business venture, which you will most certainly be hearing about in the next few days… just doing a little product testing first. Have to give you all my informed opinion you know!)

Anyway, YES! there’s a 1 on my scale! And it’s not buried behind much larger numbers! Now I have a confession to make. I was all amped up writing my last post, where I actually fessed up to what my weight was. I hit publish, shared it on facebook, and then I TOTALLY freaked out.

Before that, I had only told 3 people what my weight was. And I didn’t even do THAT until after I had already lost 40+ pounds. But the comments and congrats immediately started pouring in from people I have known in all different stages of my life. Some who knew me way back before all this happened, then those who have only known me as over 200… (this includes my husband btw! I was 235 on my wedding day!) And I felt liberated. Still totally embarassed, especially when I would get a comment, or a like from someone that I didn’t know was reading about this, but then I started getting messages from people saying I was an inspiration to them, and that my honesty totally helped them, and that made it all worthwhile! I even had one friend contact me for help with her battle, which is the biggest complement I could ever get! So here we are.

I have stepped on that scale 463 times in the last few days to make sure it isn’t just a hoax, and it still says the same thing, so I am calling it official… I’ve hit the 100s! (One-derland as some of my fellow fat fighters call it!)

So, here’s me at 199 (Hair is a hot mess, and yes, it’s a bathroom mirror pic… but it’s what I’ve got right now! Lol)

Thank you to everyone who has offered support, listened to me complain, walked, hit the gym, or run with me, and who didn’t make me feel like a failure when I slip up and  suck down a plate of cheese fries. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you all.

Now, I PROMISE I will get back to talking about things OTHER than me trying to lose weight! (I’m not saying you’ll never hear about it again, let’s face it, I still think a daily workout deserves recognition… 😉 but these crazy kids I live with are full of blog-worthy antics. 🙂 As Jack just started emptying the dishwasher for me… the crashing sounds are a good indicator that my time is up…. EEEK! So lucky that he is cute! And he just came over and grabbed a bunch of pencils to chew on and a marker…. I’m off!

XOXO
